‘The Wormies of Rainbow with Eyes’ is a vibrant piece by Marlena Arthur that is driven by symmetry. Using colored pencils and markers, Arthur creates a group of colorful cylindrical objects with stripes and topped with eye-like shapes. In this 18 x 24” piece, each tube consists of its own color scheme and contains different hues of the same color. In the center of the image, the eyes meet and form an ‘X’ that extends to each corner of the piece.
